Planet 51

Last November 16, I had the opportunity to preview Planet 51 thanks to Zed. It’s an animated film about this astronaut, Captain Chuck Baker, who lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first to set foot in it. Funny, because all the while he was claiming the land in the name of USA (complete with the flag and all), a family of green little people watch him in complete horror. And it’s not like these creatures are barbaric brutes. Oh no sir, they aren’t! They are pretty much civilized as your next of kin. And now, they begin to think Captain Chuck is an alien invader out to destroy them!

Truth be told, I’m not a big fan of aliens, green ugly creatures, and the like so I wasn’t too keen on seeing it. (Yes, I wasn’t a fan of Shrek either.) But I gave it a shot and it turned out to be an enjoyable surprise. If you have kids or if you have a kid brother or sister, you should bring them to watch this movie. Catch it as it hit Philippine screens on Wednesday, December 2!

Why I haven't been blogging here for a long time

I'm sorry I haven't been on this blog for a long time. But gosh, tumblr's way too easy to use. Plus, I'm a very succinct person. I prefer things short and sweet. And blogging's way too much work. This is why I prefer tumbling.

But I shan't ignore this blog any longer. Will try to post every so often.
